Taylor's Wish

Taylor was a 9 year-old boy in our Comfort for Kids program in 2002 when he experienced the joy of receiving a gift from someone he didn’t even know, and his final wish was that all children in the program could receive an unexpected gift or have a special wish granted.  His mom, Dori Price, has been honoring that wish ever since, working year-round to provide our young patients, their siblings, and other family members with holiday gifts or the fulfillment of a wish.

The Taylor's Wish fund, which is managed by Hospice of the East Bay, accepts donations to meet the needs and wishes of children of our adult hospice patients. The children may receive gifts for their birthday or a holiday,  tickets to a favorite sporting or music event, a week at camp, an opportunity to meet a sports hero, and much more.  Many children who have a very sick parent experience severe financial hardship.  For those families, Taylor's Wish supplies gift cards for clothing, food, and other essentials. All of these special gifts help to lighten the load for children enduring the most difficult of times.

To donate to Taylor’s Wish, please make your check payable to Hospice Foundation of the East Bay  (write Taylor’s Wish on the memo line) and mail to 3470 Buskirk Avenue, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.  Or, click here to donate online.  Many children will be grateful for your concern and support!
